Anticipating the birth of their first child, longtime (and now thirty-something) couple Burt (John Krasinski) and Verona (Maya Rudolph) are delivered news from Burt's parents (Jeff Daniels and Catherine O'Hara) that they are moving out of Colorado thereby eliminating the expectant couple's main reason for living there. As Burt and Verona ask themselves what it means to have a family these days, they take a road trip to visit friends and family in the hope that they will find the perfect place to put down roots and raise their child.
