Closed captioning enables deaf and hearing-impaired viewers to view onscreen text of dialogue and narration.

Finding programs with Closed Captions

The Closed Captions symbols tells you when a program has captions.
There are several ways to access this information on Fetch.

  • Showing the location of Closed Captions symbol while watch a TV channel

    While watching a TV channel

    Press the ‘Info’ button on your remote twice to display the program details including availability of Closed Captions.

  • Showing the location of Closed Captions symbol fromt he show information

    From the show information

    Highlight a program and press ‘Info’ on your remote to bring up the program details including Closed Captions.

  • Showing the location of Closed Captions symbol from the TV Guide

    From the TV Guide

    Scroll through the TV guide, the info displayed will show the Closed Captions symbol if available.

Channels with Closed Captions

Closed Captions are added by the channel providers to some or all of the programs on the channel. Channels that include Closed Captions are shown below.

How to enable Closed Captions

To enable Closed Captions, simply press the ‘Text’ button on your Remote Control.

Press the ‘Text’ button to turn text on or off. Press the ‘123…’ button to turn on remote lights, and then the ‘Info/Text’ button. Press the ‘Text’ button to turn text on or off.
